If I choose a user ID instead of my Account number, will my Account still be secure?
Logging in with a user ID is just as safe as with your Discover Card Account number, provided you choose your user ID carefully. For tips on choosing a secure user ID, see the answer to the previous question.
What is the difference between a PIN and my Account Center password?
Your PIN is a four-digit number you use with your Discover Card at an ATM or bank to get a cash advance for your Discover Card account or to withdraw cash from your Discover Money Market Account. Your Account Center password is 5 to 10 digits, and you use it to access online Account Center services.
